The Overdrive audiobook is officially underway, and I’m beyond excited to finally begin bringing this story to life in a whole new way.
This has been such a dream project for me. Overdrive has always been a story full of tension, emotion, chemistry, heart and soul, and my hope is to create an audiobook experience that captures all of that same intensity in a way you can feel. Something immersive. Cinematic. Intimate. The kind of listening experience that pulls you in and refuses to let go... just as I hope my books do.
If you’re unfamiliar with Kickstarter, it's a crowdfunding campaign that works a lot like a preorder event. Readers can pledge their support for the project and, in return, unlock exclusive rewards and limited offerings while helping fund the production itself.
Audiobook production is a big investment, and Kickstarter gives me the chance to create this project with the level of quality and care it deserves, while also making the experience feel special for the readers who want to be part of it from the very beginning.
The audiobook is currently in production, with a tentative and hopeful goal for release summer 2026.
Overdrive is being recorded in duet narration, which means all male parts of the book will be narrated by Corvin King, and all female parts will be narrated by Kit Swann.
As things move forward, you can expect to find updates on production milestones, timelines, release details, fulfillment information, and all the little behind-the-scenes moments in between, on the Kickstarter itself.
Only certain tiers will receive the audiobook as a reward for pledging.
